Our Damascus Fiber Arts School is having an exhibit of weavers works starting Friday September 9th and running through October 10, 2011. We all are very excited about having our work shown and many will be for sale. If you have a chance to go up and see them, we'd love to hear your opinions. It seems like such a perfect place to hang them but a good excuse to visit the lodge, as well. If you have any out of town guests expected and need a place to take them, Timberline Lodge is a great place!
One of our weavers is also a graphic designer, that would be Sandy. She created these two posters to advertise the event. The top poster shows a tapestry by our teacher and fearless leader, Terry Olson. The second poster was created by our weaver Elaine Noonan. Both tapestries will hang in the show.
